Have some ideas for a fanwork, but want to have a chance to bounce them off of some other fans before going through with making something out of them? Here's your opportunity!

The Imperial Circular Line
An idea born out of two questions:
1.Since the Tube system has been converted into the Stacks storage space what takes it's place as the Empire's railway/public transport focus?
2.The Feast of the Fools guide tells us at least London Victoria station exists so do the trains go anywhere?
Maybe the stations connect to each other somehow either due to the loa or something the Faction established later? And not every service gets through...

Time Agency Vortex Manipulators
Primitive biodata manipulators?
"Genesis of the Daleks": The Timelords moved beyond such devices when the universe was less then half the size it's size at that time.
"The Sound of Drums": Shows it causes temporary injuries even to a Timelord after use.
"The Pandorica Opens": 11 calls it a, "bad habit" implying Timelords might find it addictive.
Could it be addictive because it's so primitive that it's dangerous and they can feel it manipulating their biodata? The timetravel equivalent of driving a motorcycle being more exhilerating and dangerous then driving a car?
What is the vortex then? It has to exist because it has native wildlife. The causal nexus?

The physical Lineacrux house is essentially run like the Diogenes Club, (to maintian the, "elderly scholar" image and desuade visitiors) with members sat around reading and appearing to or actually being asleep but: interact, argue, and plan as much as any other house but in their House's own sub lattice of the intelligenstia, (the collective thought network) instead of physically and outloud.

Coming up is the 25th anniversary of Faction Paradox first appearance in Alien Bodies on the 24th of this month. I think it would be fun to do a short collaborative fic. Entitled something like “the Nth Grandfather’s” (in which the Grandfather never appears once) or “25(or 75)years of the War a retrospective from the perspective of the Lesser Species’s.” (a document of how the War has effected many people across history).
I don’t know how good this idea is but I myself am rather fond of it.
by collaborative you either write a chapter of a mini fic or something along those lines.

Entitled something like “the Nth Grandfather’s” (in which the Grandfather never appears once) or “25(or 75)years of the War a retrospective from the perspective of the Lesser Species’s.” (a document of how the War has effected many people across history). I don’t know how good this idea is but I myself am rather fond of it. by collaborative you either write a chapter of a mini fic or something along those lines. I quite like the idea of The Three Grandfathers (with the "Three" here meaning "however many authors are interested in writing one"), and each minific is built around the absence of the Grandfather. So like in The Book of the Enemy, each story is about a different potential identity of the Enemy, each minific is about a different potential Grandfather (because each author's bound to have their own ideas about who he was, because he's a space left intentionally blank), but he's not in any of the stories. Each one is an exercise for the reader to trace the shape of the hole left in the story once the Grandfather has been erased. But I suppose if it's the 25th it should be Silver Paradox. Or Unremembrance of the Grandfathers. If we ever do it, bags I the title Silver Paradox. |

I still like Silver Paradox as well.
Why not “Silver Paradox: √-1 Grandfathers” Actually I really like that title I think that is the one that we should use. Do you have any counter proposition? As it is getting rather close to the 24th. |

A Christmas Paradox
A Christmas Carol but Faction Paradox
Homunculette is cast as Scrooge and it is about the various ghosts of Christmas to show him the ways of Paradox.
Other characters include:
Ghost of Christmas past - the Head of the Presidency
Ghost of Christmas Present - Chris Cwej
Ghost of Christmas yet to come- Complassion
Ghost of Christmas never to pass - Grandfather Paradox
Marley - Marie
Other than Grandfather Paradox (who is never seen and by this point Homunculette may be hallucinating) none of these people want to be doing this. But the Head is kind of doing with out realising on it journey from the beginning of time to the end. Cwej is doing as part of a complex plan to do something or other for someone or other and Compassion owes Justine a favour.
I know it pretty silly but I think that it could be a little bit of fun
