If two Factionals decide to have a child how is it recruited? is it simply born into the Faction or does it have to undergo the traditional recruitment ritual of killing their parents? If it's the later what happens?

I've always presumed people become infertile when joining the Faction, but I'm not sure why.
I think this could be a good story premise - someone growing up in The Eleven Day Empire (or a new capital if one is ever properly made).

You have to remember the killing on ancestors is not part of the initiation for a standard member, that only happened when you become a godparent and get a massive target stuck on your back. However quite a lot of the Faction’s higher up’s despite having left the Homeworld are still infertile as they were born from the looms of the Homeworld. The rank and file I don’t know. But if we look at the 10,000 Dawns story “White Canvas” we see members of the Faction having children and the children are raised whilst where masks. So we can assume they are inducted into the Faction but with out formal rank perhaps maintaining the position of Little Sibling until they are old enough to go through the full initiation ritual.
