Was thinking about this earlier: Is there some sort of list of relevant Book of the War entries to read as a refresher for each Faction Paradox novel? That would be a pretty handy tool for first time readers.

Alright well I couldn't find anything so I suppose I'll do it myself as I work my way through the various novels. Starting off with This Town Will Never Let Us Go by Lawrence Miles:
-Earth: History -Faction Paradox -Fashion Paradox -Ghost Clusters -History -Humanity -Loa -"Monsters" Coda -Noosphere -Ritual -Sacrifice -Time-Travel: Biodata Principle -Timeships -Younger World Story
I'd also recommend Broken Remote, but since the list is alphabetical it felt a bit weird to start off with an entry on the Remote when they're not really a part of the novel.
This was a tough list to put together since This Town isn't really heavy on connections to the rest of the Spiral Politic, the links are more thematic. So, thoughts on this list? Did I do a great job? Am I an idiot for including/omitting this or that? All feedback is welcome! Also feel free to do your own lists for books you've read. I'm only one guy, so any help compiling this nifty reference tool would be much appreciated.

Just realized this morning that I never did an entry for Of the City of the Saved despite finishing it months ago! So this book isn't exactly fresh in my memory but luckily, it has its own dedicated section in Book of the War. That makes my job a hell of a lot easier. The entries are listed in Design Specs for Advanced Users on the wiki and the archived website but for the sake of completionism, I'm gonna put them here too:
-City of the Saved -Timebeast Assault -Verrifant -Mirraflex -Mantissa -Het Linc -Secret Architects -Uptime Gate -Lefcourt -Krymtorpor -Ghetto of the Damned -Foaming Sky -Order of the Iron Soul -Pinocchio -Rump Parliament -Timon -Halfling -Piltdown Mob -Sons of Tepes
(I promise this won't all just be me copying stuff off the wiki lol) Please let me know if I forgot anything, it's entirely possible since I read this three months ago. It might take a while before I do another one because I'm in VNA land at the moment, but who knows? I definitely want to wait until I've read Just War before covering Warlords of Utopia so maybe I'll jump forward and do an Obverse one or something.

Alright, I just finished Warlords of Utopia not even an hour ago and am currently sitting here with my copy of Book of the War, trying to find connections. So without further ado, here is the list:
-Cwejen -History -Leviathans -Loa -Mirraflex -Spiral Politic
This was a weird one to compile, as the book is mostly self-contained with a few references here and there to the Spiral Politic. Even worse, most of the things featured in the novel which are mentioned in Book of the War are in entries which are largely inconsequential to the plot of the novel. Honestly, the best reference I could provide for this book's subject matter is "Cosmology of the Spiral Politic", the essay Lawrence Miles wrote on how the universe (universes?) of Faction Paradox work, which can be found in the reprint of Dead Romance. But again, mostly inconsequential. You could definitely go in blind for this one.
