This is the lost book of Faction Paradox and I want to know if it real I have found a single scrap which may be part of it simonbjones.blogspot.com/2014/12/minor-wikipedia-updates.html?showComment=1484470675975#c8045881083113126526This is the only evidence of its entire existence other than a mention of TARDIS Wiki and a few mentions on Tumblr. what I want to know is has any one seen it in its entirety when is briefly existed online. or is it all an over elaborate hoax ? And if you have seen it what was it about? When/ Why did it get removed? was it true that it had poor readership? And if anyone can help I want to find it. I have spent months trawling the internet for any scarp of info on it, other than the aforementioned place I have found nothing.

But I don't advise spending too much more time looking. It's very Faction Paradox to have a missing book that was erased from time – but it would also be very Faction Paradox to make everyone believe that was the case.

First of all have you been taking tips from the Book of Lies? secondly it’s still a fun thing to do if I have a hour or two to kill. thirdly I will find out the truth and if I have to make an enemy of some conceptual entities who style themselves as gods then so be it. land finally thank you for a few more clews.

Basically, in one reality (this one, as far as I perceive it) it started out as a gag (the title is the thematic opposite of Burning With Optimism’s Fire) and sort of snowballed. No one stopped us (until they did, which is a very Faction-y thing really) and some of us went as far as to write reviews of stories for the Wiki…. You know, the fact that Mrs Columbo does and does not simultaneously exist is a VERY Faction Paradox idea, stuff like that.

It's really eerie when you see a copy of this thing...it's this unnerving book-shaped hole in the universe. One friend I knew felt too uneasy with it's emptiness, he never says what he did with it. Another friend demonstrated the scope of how much stuff you can hide inside a book-shaped gap of nothing (as if it's a bag/book of holding!?). He didn't learn the first time when he lost his stash when the thing did one of it's existence-flickerings: in the blink of an eye it was all gone. He may have put too much of himself into it, too...he just hasn't been the same since the last time it flickered...

Over the past half-day, since mid-noon, I have, with the help of a certain Godfather, began documenting the truth of Wallowing in Pessimism's Mire; I have scoured many a GallifreyBase forum thread, to the dark depths of writers' blogs, to obscure and esoteric Wiki talk pages. From the dependable and-certainly-not-joking mouths of Simon Bucher-Jones, Andrew Hickey, Nate Bumber, Ryan Fogarty, Ian Potter, Aristide Twain, and no thanks to the attempts of the Belgian Ducks to disrupt the existence of the anthology's place in the Spiral Politic and of Stuart Douglas to besmirch the legacy and discredit the truth surrounding Wallowing in Pessimism's Mire, I have gained a Celestis-level understanding of the forgotten tome. I can definitively say that the anthology is not a hoax (and I will not be accepting statements to the contrary) and was definitely cancelled due to printer issues/people ignoring the anthology when it was released/major copyright concern-related pulping. All of these statements are true, and they definitely don't contradict each other.
My heart breaks over the failed BBV adaption of Wallowing in Pessimism's Mire, as that was the one chance for the works of the esteemed writers to finally meet the light of day. Concerning the individual who assualted Baggs, would this have perhaps be the actions of Stuart Douglas or the Belgian Ducks merging together to form a bipedal Duck-Man?

Is the story about Baggs' assault true? Aristide posts "evidence" which for me just links back to a video of William Hartnell laughing.

after searching Obverse's site with the Wayback Machine between late 2014 - april 2015 (the only dates that were archived around that time period between SBJ's december 2014 Excerpt blog post and his comment about the printers (implying it had already been listed on Obverse) + the wiki page saying a blog post was made by Andrew Hickey on June 7th 2015,, I haven't seen any glimpses of any listings. I have concluded this book was erased from the timeline *retroactively* so that it did not exist to begin with. (aka, it was/is a prank on the fandom)
EDIT: here's a link to March 15th, 2015 of Obverse's Faction Paradox listings, which would have been ~3 months before it was "removed" if the blog post asking why it was taken down being from June means it was removed in June .
