I finished reading the second issue of the Faction Paradox comic and it is very good. The story is engaging, the lore is interesting and the art is incredible. The non-comic things such as the prose fiction and the (not actually) letters column are a really nice touch as well. I found the setting much more engaging than it is in the audios that feature it.
I think it's such a large shame that the series didn't continue; having read the page for issue 3 on the wiki (which also goes over other future plans), it seems a lot was planned out and it sounded very interesting. Is there any hope at all of having the plot concluded?

Is there any hope at all of having the plot concluded? Not really, no, sad to say. Miles was asked about the scripts for further issues on Twitter and answered with something to the effect of “Thanks for the interest, but though I may want to live in the past, my own past is a bridge too far”. If we ever see a conclusion, it is unlikely to be the one Miles had planned. You do have the very closely-connected Adventuress of Henrietta Street to look forward to, though, if you haven't read that yet.

I am reading the EDAs in order and have only done the first 2 so it's likely to be a while until I get to it, sadly (I'm also alternating between the PDAs and, from the next book I read in this order, the VNAs).

Th comic happened entirely at the wrong time, IIRC both Marvel and DC were looking long and hard at what franchises to keep active (and Marvel was facing bankruptcy (again)), indie companies with esoteric core properties haven’t started, digital didn’t exist at all and it was still considered a “kiddie only media”. These days… it might work. It might not. It would have to be digital only and probably something a more longer-form (closer to trade length) than a 20ish page issue per release.

tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Creatures_of_Habit_(comic_story)It looks like Mr Miles planned for the comic to essentially be Sabbath's story, (from entering The Service up until just before the events of, "The Adventuress of Henrietta Street) while also covering the North American tribes. Issues no.1 to 5, (the Mother Franseca and Mamamoth plotline) were suposed to be an introduction. Apparently issue no.3, "Creatures of Habit" is written down somewhere but like so many other Faction media from that time is unfortunately lost. The most we have is the publisher's summary: As for raising awareness, someone could sumbit both to Linkara as a patreon sponsored review, (he is a self admitted Whovian) but thats about it.

She already has she went by Isabel in her youth. tardis.fandom.com/wiki/ScarletteIt probably means being vulgar or rude and or she's involved in other disreputable activities. She's probably who took Isobel in and hid her as a prositute maybe has some knowledge of The Service?

While I like many things FP, nearly everything (including what we have of this comic), I always felt the better approach would have been to structure it differently. Especially given how (I think) FP can work very well as an anthology series, even a short story anthology series (TBotW, Romance, Burning, ect), I wish the comic had started out with a couple of single-issue stories, standalone stories designed to grab people without asking for a six-issue committment that might not (and in the end, was not) fulfilled. How much less disappointing would it be if we got two different stories with, showcasing a little more variety and a go all in approach, rather than warming up for an unfinished single story?

I think that was the first of many I've made for unproduced FP stories. They all hurt, but I think this one hurts most. Cutaway Comics seems to have been meeting a lot of success these last few years, for what it's worth. Maybe the prostitute would have been Mary Culver? Scarlette revered her in her adulthood, although her story presumably ended in 1762 with the Protocols audios.

Issue #1 arrived in the post today. Read the story (but not the prose pieces) already, and I enjoyed it. Particularly liked the mystique of the plot, though I feel as if I was thrown into too many characters' stories at once, thus making it a juggle to keep up. Hoping I can track down a physical copy of issue #2 soon.
