You create a rather interesting idea.
Yes I do believe it would be cool to have some form of pin of badge however i am also remained of “the Enemy of my Enemy is my Enemy” short story from the book of the Enemy, in which the Faction Masks are used as the mask for a Guy forks mask from V for Vendetta stand in and to criticise the capitalisation of communism, socialism and anarchism, in the fact that the masks are mass produced In sweatshops and subversive still buy them to show their subversiveness. So would purchasing so I ask you would the very act of purchasing Faction Paradox Mechanise the antithesis of the message of the book?
Not to mention if with use said items to identify fellow members of the Faction community could it not act as a form of gate keeping towards those who either do not have one or can not afford one?
I do agree this would be a cool thing to have but it would have to be produced ethically and sold for a very low cost (or no cost at all) and not linked at all to any large corporations.
If you do end up creating these thing talk about I would be very interested to own one.

I haven't a clue either.No gatekeeping is intended I just thought it'd be nice thing for us to work on/have and help stimulate fanart. As stated it would have to be through customisation services, (ebay and or shops) who typicaly don't care about copyright. Besides we're too small a group for any big companies to even notice or care unless there's copyright infringement hence my concern about the legalities. The only stumbling block would be the cost as limited run shops such as Badgemaster do a minimum of 50 for on average over £100.00 which is a big financial burden with little likelyhood of any real reimbursement. maybe the "happyface" from the OG website. We'd need a larger or ideally vector version of that image, (I've tried with no success). We could always use a modified version of the symbol in .T.B.o.t.W., (see below) it can easily be used for a: pinbadge, necklace or keyring.  |

Though now you've said that I have to resist the urge to make Big Finish style covers now. I should have made this a generic merchandise ideas thread. |

Okay, I just saw this today, and is there still interest in this? In this case, for pins, but other apparel could be made as well, especially if someone with graphic skills wanted to find public-domain photos of various animal skulls to use as a reference to Faction Paradox, without using trademarked logos, unless someone has a way of contacting Lawrence Miles or the particular person who designed the "Happyface" logo to ask for permission?
My mother is a small business owner and artist, and she is both able to make pin buttons as the cheapest option, but also literally anything under the sun you can imagine, with sublimation printing.
Here's a quick example I threw together in MS Paint as a very rough sketch using a public domain skull-- in this case, a baboon skull.

okay I just skimmed the rules again and saw Rule #7 was to keep image sizes small and use links when possible to avoid slowing down the forums. woops. It doesn't seem very active at the moment, so moving forward i'll post any new images I make as url links , and if the existing ones are an issue just let me know and i'll edit the existing posts.
