As I finish my re-read of A Romance In 12 Parts, I always love reading a hundred words from a civil war.

It got me thinking about the extended city of the saved books, and what ends up happening to Laura Tobin and Compassion.

Has anyone read those extended novels? What do you think of them?

Is there any sort of resolution to those characters?

Major spoilers for the end of the Civil war, and the anthology “Furtherest tales of thew city” ignore this if you want to avoid said spoilers the brackets do not seem to be working.

<spoiler> There is a short story, called “God Encompasses” set at the End of the Civil war which sees the destruction of the city and end with the formation of a new city which is far stranger and has stars.
On another post on this forum it was discussed that said strangeness could be that Aliens are now in the new City <spoiler/>
